Solenopsis invicta must have flown this morning in Charlotte. Found 1 on my driveway and about 20 swimming in the pool with their wings still attached.

I found that and a few other websites. I was just more curious if anyone had any first hand experience or tips. I'll keep her with my other queens in a set up and see what happens. If the queen does start a colony and then stops laying eggs after a year I may try catching a new queen or 3 and introd...

I caught a Brachyponera chinesis queen this morning. I can't find much information on them. From what I have found they are probably semi-claustral.
