hey , im from nyc. New to the hobby this year. The spring was unusually cold and we havent had a lot of rainy days. I was lucky to find my first queen in the bronx under a rock one day when i was searching..and i mean lucky..lol. I try to go out on good days or look when im at work since i work out...

I think you'd probably be alright. I seem to remember seeing people sealing with this stuff in a bunch of formicarium setups.

Had a nice rain yesterday. No queens in sight tonight.

It was 7:30 in the morning. I went for a walk today, and found nothing.

Couldn't sleep all night, and decided to go for a walk around 7:30. As soon as I stepped out of the apartment building I live in, I found a dead male. Tetramorium as far as I could tell. So that was encouraging and I kept walking. Nothing. Just workers running around. After about an hour, I spotted ...

Still nothing around here. Supposedly, we're going to get a thunderstorm Monday, and it's going to be really hot. So perhaps we'll see something then!

I think it's a great idea! It would be a great resource.

Got really cold and windy here the last two days. If there were any flights, they probably got blown to Minnesota by now. Hopefully that changes soon.

I've been looking for queens for a month now. Not a single one out there. I'm guessing all the cold and gloomy weather we've been having has slowed things down. Though in the recent week or two, there's been a steady increase in workers' presence, so hopefully we'll start seeing them soon.

I've seen them getting more and more active in the recent couple weeks. Been carrying candy in my bag and giving it to them whenever I come across some workers on my way to work. With the rain coming today, I'm sure we'll start seeing some flights soon enough.
