So it’s just as easy as introducing a male or two into the out world? That’s easy enough if anyone else knows about the introducing a queen thing would be greatly appreciated👍

Wow that’s funny, I know I’m almost two years late to this conversation but the July of 2018 I caught about 3 or 4 iridomyrmex queens (all were fertile) which is odd considering it’s in the middle of winter 🤷‍♂️

Rhytidoponera Metalica Queen Died

Hello AC I recently lost my Queen to my Green HeadedAnt Colony (rhytidoponera Metalica) how ever from what ive heard these Species are both Polygynous, and gamergates. is there a way i can save my colony? Yes there are maybe 7 workers left. :cry:
