Yes they do. Queens found colonies in small dark spaces. They don't like the light. It stresses them out and makes them less successful. Hey i need your help. I honestly couldn't say if it is but I wouldn't take chances with your ants. Google fluon or insect slip and buy something labeled specifically for that. The first one (http://imgur.com/gallery/TOPNs4P) has layed a batch of eggs! Her gaster is looking whiteish on the underside so i'm guessing she has a lot of eggs i'm so happyyyyy

I am very gratefull for your anwsers. I would still be scared that i'm doing something wrong if you wouldnt be anwsering me. Thanks man.
