Texas red Harvester queens

Okay so i have some harvester ant queens and i have them in test tube setups. I know they are semi claustrial so i gave them a variety of seeds. I was just curious if keeping them in test tube setups would be the best idea or if i should move them to a container with some soil and also i was curious...

Okay thank you ive just heard different and wanted to confirm it. Unfortunately the queen that died didnt have any brood just workers so that sucks. I guess im gonna have to just let the little guys live out there lives im still feeding them and everything

Okay so which genus would it be with the yellow strips on her gaster. Is there a specific focal point for the pictures so you can identify her better ?
