Mixing social parasite queens

I have 3 Formica obscuripes queens in my possession, and I was curious if I could mix them together. Ant wiki says that they are Polygynous but I was curious if anyone else has attempted this and succeeded.

looking for pheidole queens

I live in northern Illinois and I was curious as to how common Pheidole ants are in the region, and if its even worth trying to search for them.

ID 2 queens

I found these 2 queens within the last couple days, and I was wondering what exact species they were. I'm pretty sure they are both formica of some kind, but I'm not sure. https://imgur.com/DJP7wm9 https://imgur.com/I6o1j2e I was also wondering if the one that is more dark in color is injured/less h...

Re: Tetramorium in Northern states?

I found about 10 Tetramorium Male alates on one of the windows of my house. I was wondering if this means a nuptial flight is going to happen soon. There is a thunderstorm where I live right now.

Re: Queen identification help

I think that it is tetramorium, because they are having their nuptial flights now
