My pheidole colony has Growing numbers im assuming 2-3 thousand! but the majors have big heads but are near the same size as the workers know anything about this?? i found that most ant colonies love fruit flies and you can by flightless fruit flies at most pet stores tetramorium ants like to hunt them and even at as few as 15 workers they swarm them really well but only if they are moving and they are a good source of protein but they will need other sources ...

just a few days ago my pavement ants (terrarium immagranus) swarmed their first meal it was a fruit fly i feed them 2-4 flies a day

so i moved in my tetramorium immagranus to the formicarium a few weeks ago i cant seem to get them to forage i still have 2 other colonies same species in test tube setups just in case the one in the formicarium dies but im still trying to save them

i am moving one of my colonies into the formicaruim now but i decided just to release the 3 extra colonies because there is no demand for Tetramorium Immaranus right now
