so there is not much data on nuptial activity in my area on this species. Anyone have any thoughts on when they might have their nuptial flights or how to catch a queen?

It seems like a worker. But don’t lose hope! If there are workers, there are nuptial flights. Also i’m not an expert, so i can’t tell for sure, but usually queens have larger gasters! :D Any idea on when those nuptial flights might occur? i have collect at least a dozen of these ants from a school ...

Found in rotting leaves and undergrowth below a magnolia tree beside rotting pine stump.
