Little bitty queens and one Campo
Location: Murphey NC Date/Time: 6/10/2018 9am Length 4-5mm Found on roof. I was working and suddenly they were everywhere. I just picked them up off the roof and put them into containers. There were dead and dying males all over the place. It was really cool to witness. I caught 17 of the little one...

So from what I understand from reading this info, I need to find a lasius colony and capture some workers and brood and hope that they introduce properly using one of the listed methods as lasius queens are not capable of caring for brood in any way on their own. Some people claim they've been able to start Lasius parasite colonies with just cocoons, but the vast majority of accounts I've read failed to start this way.
