Re: Noob Needs Help with Camponotus...

Honestly your new setup looks great compared to the previous one. I think for best possible results the external factors really need to be dialed in. Try wrapping her in a towel, shirt, cloth anything that can prevent the light from getting to her when you open the cabinet or drawer. You want her in...

Re: Help Help! When do I do my first feeding!?

Lolol well I'm sorry and your welcome! :D I'm proud to say that the advice was really well received! They took to their first little Outworld far better than I could have expected! I fed them their first meal of pure honey and the next day a very small wild spider! (pre killed). It was so much fun wa...

Re: I need help to start an ant farm

A good clean test tube is super important for the start of the colony! I personally also had ton of trouble finding test tubes to buy in the beginning.. The internet is definitely the place to go. I of course caught my Queen's before I had a glass test tube tho. A good temporary or starter tube is t...

Re: Trash in the testube

Wow that is a very blurry pic! Try and set the phone on a surface near the test tube and take a really steady pic! Also you can put your cam in sports mode to have a faster shutter speed. I'm no "experianced" ant keeper but I know from AC that their "trash" needs to be cleaned before it molds or goe...
