So, strangely my colony is more active now, and more productive...they're actually now fairly aggressive foragers, before they used to just sort of hang out.

So the oldest child went running by, and due to poor placement of a testtube, snagged the formacarium with her arm, throwing it to the ground. The colony has been going strong now for 2 years, and was just coming out of hibernation. I spent 45 minutes on the floor with cotton balls collecting eggs, ...

I remembered I found a worker a few months ago with similar colors. And batfishspider gave me an ID on the worker. Camponotus sp.major, possibly C. sansabeanus. I think it's the same species as that one.

Another update...only one larvae formed a cocoon, and doesn't appear to have survived...however she is still alive and well and raising her newest brood.
