So I stumbled across a cluster of 18 queens under a traffic cone by one of our buildings early in the morning on the 12th, all wings gone. Ended up with 19 total by the end of the day. Only one didn't lay eggs and she was dead when I checked on them last night. So now I have 18 queens with eggs that...

So I finally found a good site with species identification information, and from what I can see, and find I am thinking this queen is a camponotus pennsylvanicus queen. Does this look correct? Or did I possibly miss something important?
