I remembered I found a worker a few months ago with similar colors. And batfishspider gave me an ID on the worker. Camponotus sp.major, possibly C. sansabeanus. I think it's the same species as that one.

Another update...only one larvae formed a cocoon, and doesn't appear to have survived...however she is still alive and well and raising her newest brood.

So I stumbled across a cluster of 18 queens under a traffic cone by one of our buildings early in the morning on the 12th, all wings gone. Ended up with 19 total by the end of the day. Only one didn't lay eggs and she was dead when I checked on them last night. So now I have 18 queens with eggs that...
