What I believe to be a Formica Fusca, Please confirm. Caught them both August 15 2015, Nova Scotia.

What's weird is this year I caught 3 Formica Fusca queens and none of them layed :x

I had a Formica fusca queen go nine months without laying a single egg, then she eventually got workers. :lol:

Yeah also I am pretty sure this is F.fusca or something pretty close to it.

I noticed your Formica fusca Queen had brownish legs, Mine are completely shinny black.

She turned out to be a Formica subsericea queen.
