ID Queen East Lansing
I found these ant in a cluster around the queen outside huddled against a corner wall on MSU campus East Lansing MI. There black with kinda a red sheen to them. There 11 mm long and and are really quick and active. I can't really see the petiole but the antenna only have one distinctive joint and are usually held at 90 degree angle. Um there legs looked alil longer than other species I've seen but I'm no expert could be subjective. That's all I have. Here she is with some of her workers I took.
And here's the cluster they formed when I found them
Thanks for your help

I'm sorry I just now researched what sp. means taxonomically. I'm going to assume my queen is Formica pallidefulva after all. Thanks for all the help!
