Features:0.8cm long, not aggressive, run wild when startled, red to brown mandables, light black heads and thoraxes but have grey to white streaks on their gasters, I have seen multiple colonies in,an area they seem to be interacting with one another(not sure if there all part of one large colony), brown to black legs and antennae about 2/3 Times the length of their bodies
Area:backyard
Encountered:Selangor,Malaysia 22/11/2016

Did your measurement include the antennae?

Yes, what I meant was both legs and antennae were black in addition they both also share the same length, around 2/3 times the ants body length

The antennae are not included in measurements. The images aren't clear enough to make a thorough ID, but I believe these are Anonychomyrma glabrata or Iridomyrmex anceps.
