Queen? Answer as soon as possible!
I caught her on Long Island, New York. She is around 7mm long. I'm pretty sure she's a worker, but she has a big thorax. Is she a queen? Thank you.
Re: Queen? Answer as soon as possible!
Would it be possible to get a close pic of the thorax? Close enough to see possible wing scars.
With all the things ants can do, you wonder, who rules the planet

The thorax looks bigger from the side, let me take a side picture quickly.

I have a problem... I ran out of test tubes. Is there anything else I can use?

is there a flower shop or a grocery store with live flowers to sell, near you? if so ask them for some "water picks". they used to give them for free.MCWren wrote:I have a problem... I ran out of test tubes. Is there anything else I can use?
