We are working on it! Hoping to have the Hybrid Large back at the store again within a few months.wmedina83 wrote:Wishing there was an option for a hybrid nest large or extra large even. I'm open to suggestions, but if this is how quick they grow in a month I'm going to have to come up with a solution quick.

Glad to hear there's going to be a hybrid nest large! They're going to need it soon...

OMG! There's a lot of eggs in the hybrid nest...

There's still a ton of eggs and brood in the original fungus chamber nest that I bought from http://www.formiculture.com/topic/134-dspdrews-acromyrmex-versicolor-journal-119-updated-7-6-2016/
Not sure what that means or if the queen has moved in but I'm sure it probably means it is already time to upgrade their setup. They're growing very fast.
Can someone tell me if the eggs in the hybrid nest means the queen has moved? And how to safely move a leaf cutter colony into a larger setup seeing as they'd need to move the fungus too?

The fungus in the hybrid nest is taking over

Also the queen seems to like the hybrid nest, but not the light. I do try to keep my snooping down to a minimum

And here's what the out world looks like at "feeding time". They start to fill up the outworld anytime I touch the lid.
