Keeping and caring for Pseudomyrmex pallidus
Hi I am from Parker Colorado and have a colony of Pseudomyrmex pallidus. I know quite a bit about them. they were collected in the sand dunes and mate in captivity. i would like to know if they can live in an omni nest or if they require twigs.
Re: Keeping and caring for Pseudomyrmex pallidus
you said they lived in sand dunes, an omni nest should be fine, but add a small layer on sand to the floor of the nest, it should give them some comfort.
Queens only:
Myrmecia Pilosula (6 larvae, 1 pupae)
Early Stage Nests:
x1 Anonychromyrma (15-20 workers)

tried this, but they only lived in twigs so they are in a specialized setup.
