Hi, she is about 1 cm, in other words a normal lasius niger size. I caught her a couple weeks ago, but she haden't layed any eggs, I looked closerr and saw that she was a paracitic queen XD I felt so dumb, now winter is coming in sweden, and most species are in hibernation... So I can't get her slaves... (I can try but I havent seen any workers anywhere) What species is she so that if I do come across some slaves, I can take em! Thanks! <3

I know that the pics are really bad, but When I dragged her out of the test tube, she freaked out, and I had to put her back fast...

I thought I had a lasius umbratus queen (picture) and that she was that cause she was orange. But can a species vary that much from specimen to specimen!!!??

Lasius umbratus queens are nusually brown.
