I had to
My Formica subcericia colony has one worker and a queen (duh) and I kept trying to move them into a new test tube because the mold on the other one was so incredibly bad and they wouldn’t move into the new one, I had it setup in the moving for days! So I had to move them into the nest, I placed their test tube in the outworld, I know they won’t leave the test tube, any tips? I know this was stupid

Re: I had to
Since they've already moved into the nest I'm not sure how this will help if your queen stays in her chamber, but if you ever catch her in the outworld I would suggest just closing off the outworld and having her live in it. Since putting them into the nest too early can stress them and if they start leaving food residue, dead ants, or poop inside the nest it can cause molding or it can attract mites.TippyDisc911 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2017 4:56 pmUpdate: they have moved into nest!
