I aparrantly cought a semiclausteral myrmica queen.
I today gave her a tothpick tip full of sugar into her testtube, but Im unsure how often I need to do that and especially if there is a way to raise her without having to open her tube every time to feed.
Any advise is helpfull. It's my first try ever, Thank you!

If I were you, I would put her test tube in an outworld of some sort, cover half of it up to let her choose how much light she wants, and line the outworld with a barrier (vaseline, fluon, etc.), then drop in her food there. Good luck!

I would offer sugary liquid and a frozen Drosophila fly every few days. I'm currently keeping four young colonies from this genus.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.

Re: Semiclausteral Myrmica queen
So I just ran out to get what I think is necesrry to create a setup.
Here's my plan:
I gut a small aquarium tank ( 30x20x20 cm) in which I will place the papertowl covered testtube (for darknes) with a short drinkind straw as exit and babypowder as barrier.
I got mehlworms for food, which I froze to be able to seperate them into pieces and feed the queen.
Any ideas how i could improove the setup?

Re: Semiclausteral Myrmica queen
addition:
I covered most of the setup with a cardbordbox my "outworld" got sold in.
When I placed her in the outworld she soon exited through the straw, ran around the outword (although ignoring the honey and a worm I found in a pair half an hour ago) and returned into the testube on her own.
Is that good or bad?
