Would it be stupid to put 10 Solenopsis Molesta queens in one test tube to start a colony? I know Invicta explode in growth but don't have any experience with any Solenopsis Molesta. Thanks for the help :D

Ya I wouldn't do that . 3 is the most I would put in a test tube . Also not for sure if their polygynous so if you combine them your taking a major risk but if your ok with taking a major risk that's up to you .

Actually I have Solenopsis Molesta and they are very accepting of new queens. What I suggest is, put all ten together and wait. If you see some of the queens away from the main group then take them out. Simple as that and the rest of the queens should be fine together. They don’t ever kill each other based on my experience but the ones that stray from the main group should be taken out of the test tube and perhaps be put in another one

Yeah but will they grow out of control?

Solenopsis molesta are tiny and colonies don't grow to an unmanageable size. They don't have too much in common (so far as ecology) with their RIFA cousins.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.

So what do you suggest?

I always advise to keep your ants as safe as possible and avoid novelties like multi-queen colonies. If the queens are friendly to each other, then there probably won't be bad consequences for combining them.
