HELP! Tiny queen ID

Post: # 28763Post Aussie

The ants in Australia are confused, it is the middle of winter and should be about 20-24 degrees Celsius were I live but it has been 30+ for 5 days in a row now.

Anyway many ants are having their nuptial flights now and so I have been catching many species that I am familiar with but this species, never seen before and they are tiny!

Can anyone help identify and also tell me if they have multi queen colonies? (I have caught about 12 but am short on test tubes so if they are multi queen I might make a super colony)

Cheers

The only way people can identify any ant is by looking at her closeup pics from different angles, its size and place where you caught it.
