Ok well it's gotten to the point where they want to move out but can't. Image
When I try feeding them they move all the brood back. They're water is completely light green now. I emptied out the other test tube and made a new set up. Thankfully they haven't been putting mold in there. I think I'm going to have to encourage them to think of other solutions than to put the brood right up against the foraging area. I'm going to keep the test tube exposed to the light while the other one stay a dark and I'll see what happens.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea! I think they might just move the brood further in to protect it from what they see as an invasion of their nest.
