Does anyone know if it is normal for my camponotus pennsylvanica queen with 9 nanitic stone always be laying down and sleeping, she is sometimes active but not that much.

Could be too cold. What's the temperature that they're in?

I did realize I take them down to check on them and my house is air conditioned.

Try to keep them at 80 degrees F and see if anything changes.
