Dark Knights (North)
I decided to go for something different this time around, take some risks and do something original. Obviously Cheshire cat inspired, the dark colour and stark contrast represents their visual appearance as well as juxtaposition of appearance and personality. (Terrifying in mass, but docile and non aggressive)
The mythical nature of the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland represents the mysterious and unusual nature of black crazy ants. (Referring to their ability to double clone)
I kept it simple to keep the focus on the eyes, which is the main difference between the Dark Knights North and the dark knights south.


Dark Knights (South)
I wanted to keep the flags obviously the same, so I made very little alteration between the flags.
Red for south (obviously)


Also here is a new edit of my previous flag design, just neatened up some edges is all.

Wanted to focus on the simplicity and drive of the fire nation. Their aggressiveness and brutality. So I went with the colour red and minimalist shape and colour. A mix of symbolic and graphical choices.

Hope you like my flags, its not like I expect to win anyway.

The Golden Empire. I chose the green and the trees because of their tank. I like the idea of a dirt nest in a terrarium. the yellow is obviously there because of the name.

My entry for the dark knights

a white/black field with two crosses on either side with a wider gray cross behind
the cross is a there since it is a symbol of knights
the reverse colors represent the ethnic differences with the ants
the black represents the color of the ants
the white represents the bright future
the gray represents the thin tube that connects the two kingdoms
the stars represent a union between the two countries

the knights of the north are as follows


the background is black since the soil there is primarily black

the knights of the south are as follows


the background is white since the soil there is primarily white

For this flag, the reds represent the domination and power of the colony. The single star corresponds to the single queen, while the circle around it symbolises the workers.
