I have been searching daily, but have yet to find a queen. In fact, I am hardly finding any ants at all. What ants does Oregon have? When should nuptial flights be starting? And what am I doing wrong?
Colonies:
--Tetramorium Caespitum
--Camponotus pennsylvanicus
--Formica Sp.

I'm in Vancouver Washington. Not many ants around yet where I'm at either. I think they just haven't really started coming out, maybe due to the intense winter we had.

That's what I've been thinking. I am just now starting to spot tetramorium.
