Help! My colony flooded earlier today when I was filling their water. Luckily, I noticed it and immediately got some cotton swabs to clean it. They're Tetramorium and are in a Tar Heel Ants inception chamber. Will they be okay?

I realise that this was a long time ago, but how are they? I know that ants cannot drown. (even when submerged for weeks)

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

They're fine now. They've been hibernating for a while.

yes, but realistically, it takes a super duper long time. look it up. It's crazy how long they can go!
