Help with my queen-help a noob

I caught a Camponotus chromaiodes queen in 9-15-16 she has not laid eggs or lost her wings. should i be worried. :?

Not necessarily. She may be waiting until aafter hibernation to begin laying. As well many queens keep their wings well into colony founding. Just give her time. Happy Ant Keeping!

be sure its not a male, they keep their wings and i kept a male in a test tube for like 2 weeks because i thought it was a queen

I'm sure a male would be dead after two months.

UPDATE- she has came out of hibernation about a month ago and has laid no eggs.

Give her time. My Camponotus pennsylvanicus took about two months to lay eggs after hibernation and even when she did there were not that many.

UPDATE- Sadly she passed away.
she had laid eggs and lost her wings
