Hi! Does anyone here have an idea of a camponotus species that does not form a cocoon? It came from here in the Philippines so it's a tropical species.
She has been with me for a year now. I don't have a good camera but she looks very similar to this:
Any help would be great!

Twice I have caught a Queen for this sp. 1st one sadly died but 2nd one is still with me . All of their pupae never spun any cocoon.
Another fascinating thing I found out about this Camponotus sp. is that the workers jump! Is that normal for any Camponotus sp.? Even the majors are able to jump quite an impressive distance.
