Going away for a while
So I'm going to go away in a few days for a bit more than a month, and I have a queen. I caught her today (btw don't have test tubes :/), so I'm worried about her not having water while I'm away, what should I do?

Re: Going away for a while
Make an airtight container that is big enough for her to have enough air, but teh water not evaporate. You could also make it not airtight with a bottle cap with water in a container with moist dirt for her to dig
When you accidentally reply to yourself…
Re: Going away for a while
The queen is probably dead...
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]

With that attitude for sure. xD
I don't think water would have been the issue. The bigger issue would be to provide food for a month without repleats etc.
Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.
