Hi guys,
I'm curious about ants of the drone caste,
Do these ants just sit around in the nest until the next nuptial flight ? from what I understand the queen already has **** to lay millions of eggs, and I don't believe the drones continue to mate with her, when they mature into adults do they immediately leave the nest or what happens ?

Re: Drone ants
Thanks for the info.
From what I understand drones and princesses are created before the nuptial flight, otherwise they focus on expansion and so on.
