Black cotton

Ok, in one of my lasius niger testtube and one of my tetramorium ceaspitium testtube has the cotton turned black. Do anyone know why this may have happent and should i maby move them?

Yeah, you can move them. most test tube molds aren't dangerous, but its better to be safe than sorry. It was probably a result of not properly cleaning your equipment or hands.
