Need tips on catching queens

I am from Texas and have been looking for queen ant I am new at ant keeping and have not had much luck at finding a queen. The only queen I found is a solenopsis invicta which I am pretty sure is infertile because her eggs are not developing and she is not caring for them. Polls her eggs are scattered. Any tips you can give me would be awesome.

I highly suggest to keep in touch with local anters in your area.
