I have a cimponotus novaboricensis colany with 4 workers and 4 pupi. 1 of them had been in pupi stage for 2-3 weeks now is that normal??? Ps I now see some eye dots on the side of one

Maybe it is too cold, and they aren't hot enough and so are developing slower, I wouldn't worry.
Hi I'm Jack, How are you?

2-3 weeks is normal - especially for camponotus. It can take up to 2.5 - 3 months for workers to eclose for camponotus.

You will be able to tell when they are a few days from eclosing because the pupae will darken and shrink a bit.
