Mine was linepithema humile, I got so much adrenaline I almost couldn't catch her. Back then I got an adrenaline rush and went like "OMG OMG 😱 I GOT A QUEEEEEEN" now I'm like, "hey look its another Solenopsis Xyloni queen" or, "oh cool I wonder what species this queen is?"

I do, I bought her. :P Her colony is one of my largest. My first queen without workers was Brachymyrmex, and I accidentally squished her. :(

My fisrt queen well. I had just discovered AntsCanada about last year in September. I ran out side to see if there was any nuptial flights happening and I thought all hope was lost. I was the luckiest person alive. Lasius was having a nuptial flight I scanned the ground for one and found a wandering queen without wings. I got her in a test tube but a week later she died... or I thought she did. She went into hibernation.
I didn't know that she was so I threw her away and I felt so stupid.
