Where to look?
So normally when I look for queens I just take a walk around my neighborhood and look at the edge of the road where it meets people's yards. Recently I haven't found any using this method. Any suggestions on where else I can look?

Are there any woods around or do you know anyone that has a pool?
Rather than focusing on queens, make sure you keep track of where actual ant colonies are since they will eventually have nuptial flights.

Cemeteries and recreational parks work well in this way, too.
