Tips for Queen Searching
I've been looking all year for a queen ant and haven't found a single one. I've been mostly sticking to sidewalks so maybe that's my problem. Do you guys have any tips for catching queens?

Wait for heavy rainfall then go searching at around lunch time.
Hi I'm Jack, How are you?
Re: Tips/Advice/Tricks For Queen Hunting
Time: Early Mornings / Late Evenings / Night Time [Depends On The Species]
Rain: Whether Light / Heavy Rainfall; Look Either During, Or After It Stops
Locations: Any In General, Preferably Around Fielded Areas Where You Know There Are A Lot Of Ant Species
Species: Winter Ants [Prenolepis Imparis], Carpenter Ants [Camponotus Sp], Fire Ants [Solepnosis Sp]
P.S ~ These Gals Listed Above, Are Pretty Much All You Have Flying At The Moment

^ Lucky, wished that [Winter Ants] were endemic in Malaysia; unfortunately they aren't.

I live in Tennessee in the US and just wish I could find a [Winter Ant] LOL. They seem to be a really cool species on top of being able to keep them in an air-conditioned room would be an awesome "show piece" so to say in my living room

Well, you wouldn't have much of a high percentage in locating them anyway, since it's near the end of their flights.xTNxANTMANx wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2017 10:53 amI live in Tennessee in the US and just wish I could find a [Winter Ant] LOL. Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
