A Princess before the nuptial flight
I’ve finally managed to capture an ant princess ventured a bit farther from its nest inside my house without its bodyguards. I want to release it before the nuptial flight. Any idea where I could safely release it??

Outside between 5-7 PM on a warm, humid night, doesn’t matter where realistically, as long as you have seen males in the areaOatstheAntMan wrote: ↑Mon May 09, 2022 9:38 pmI’ve finally managed to capture an ant princess ventured a bit farther from its nest inside my house without its bodyguards. Kk sweet. I’ve set up both water and honey in the tube. Though she’s really keen on trying to get through a cotton ball lol. What if I don’t see males out there?

I tried an app and it doesn’t even work from start haha.
I’ll try to keep an eye out for males out there but what if I don’t find them?

What app? I know an app that download weather info, which needs permission in your devices settings. Antflights .org I think is sometimes okay, but needs people who report more nuptial flightsOatstheAntMan wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 10:05 amI tried an app and it doesn’t even work from start haha.

The app is called “Ant Flight”. It tells you how likely it would happens each day for a week due to details of weather
