I have a question to ask do worker ants live longer in the winter months much like honey bees do ?

Most larger ant workers like Camponotus live for 2-3 years, so winter is just a season for them.

Ants workers that live less long (like the 4 month fire ants) most likely do not age much while hibernating, otherwise half the whole colony would be gone by spring.
