Queen ants battling it out

We found close to 20 Monomorium minimum queens in a crack in our sidewalk a few month ago. I decided to keep them all together in a test tube setup. As you can imagine, they had a huge brood pile. As the nanitics came, the queens started dying, either killing each other or workers killing them. As of today, there are two queens remaining. There were four yesterday, but I looked and two of the four are being hauled out by workers. It was interesting to note that the workers would chew off the queen's legs making her immobile.

I shot a poor quality video a couple of days ago and caught two queens fighting each other, but only for a few seconds, with poor lighting and focus, ugh! :(

We'll see which of the two remaining is victorious soon I suspect.
