How to disenfect test tubes?

I have some old dirty test tubes that I would like to use again, how to I clean them? Can i use 50% isopropyl alcohol. Thanks! o and the test tubes are plastic if that makes a difference. :D
With all the things ants can do, you wonder, who rules the planet :?

Scrub, then disinfect. The alcohol should work fine if you let it soak. I don't sterilize my tubes, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't.

you might boil some water then drop them in for a few seconds, but be careful if they are plastic.

Rubbing alcohol/isopropanol. If they're glass, you can also boil them.

Oh. Okay. Useful information, I'm gonna have some tubes in a couple days and I want to make sure I don't use something that could harm the queen. :D
