I recently caught what I think are two Tetramorium queens. I dug them up from there chambers becuase I noticed the overturned dirt. I'm not sure if it was a good idea to dig them up, but I was really curies to see if there was actually queens there. Also because I'm new to ant keeping in these are the 3rd and 4th queens I have caught. So I was wondering how long it takes tetramorium queens to lay eggs, I checked through the dirt to see if they laid any eggs but I did not see any and they where pretty new holes so I'm hoping they had just dug them, and they are pretty new queens. Any information about Tetramorium queens would be greatly appreciated.

My tetramorium sp. E queens I caught during a flight and they had workers in a little over a month. :D They laid within a week. Congrats!
