I am sitting here in a shopping centre, observing my fellow humans. Everyone is going on about their day, buying thing: clothes, foos, entertainment.
Then I started trying to compare us humans to ants, but the first thing I asked myself is, do ants do anything for pleasure? or are they just focused on two things: survival and proliferation.
As humans we mostly just consume, the majority of us don't directly contribute the advancement / surival of the human race. Therefore, perhaps it is unfair to compare ourselves against ants.
Do ants do anything for pure pleasure?

Some ants really look like they are enjoy themselves when they are getting cleaned. Look like me when someone scratches my back really well, falling over and such. So that's something. Haha.
Generally anything that we enjoy is there for an evolutionary reason, ants aren't selfish enough to abuse stuff.
