The wife says, "you should build an ant farm for Flathead". (5 year old grandson)
So it begins.
I bought test tubes, cotton balls, and a AC Omni Nest and started looking for queens.
I now have 6 test tube setups housing 6 Camponotus queens, of maybe a couple different species, with 2 to 12 or so eggs each.
Now I wait.
