Can you show if and when the last time someone edited one of their posts? This should be a must as people can manipulate conversations in the heated debates, or anywhere else. Or am I just missing it?

Hi Gregory,
We understand your concern. We have apply a 3minute limit to the post before it disables the EDIT and DELETE post. I guess this is enough time to edit if they want to re-phrase things and save face .
What do you think?

I personally hate when it shows that I've edited my post. Haha! Mostly because I always seem to miss spelling errors and I always tend to think of better ways to express certain things, after I have posted. I really like that I can edit in stealth, fix my botched post, and run away hoping nobody noticed. In other places online I hate that it shows that I went back and fixed things, and hate it even more when it shows my previous edits. Yucky! HAhHAHA!
I think if it is a serious concern though particularly if you are involved in a heated debate that you use the "quote" function. This is just my suggestion. We want what is best for everyone.

Why limit the edit time, I find forum authoring is an art form that should not be rushed.
I like to be able to go back to posts and tidy them, add some sparkle etc, alas I am also in lack of a life
Also, hrm save me starting or finding a new thread the [url2] tag does not seem to allow url glossing ie.
Yep this edit timer is a real pain in the I wonder
