ant care sheets
ant care sheets
Hi I've been wondering if we could have ant care sheets for different ant species like what formiculture does. i think this would be a great idea so people can look their to answer the questions they have. also our members are not always on so this will be a way so we can keep their knowledge even if they are not online.
almost one year of ant keeping
keeping:
a restarting camponotus queen
one crematogaster queen
lasius umbratus queens (to lazy to count them all)

Re: ant care sheets
Lasius. Size-small. Queen size-large. Diet-insects, sugary foods. Care level-easy. Polygynous-uncertain Aggressive-depends on species. Natural nest material-dirt. Colony size-10,000 workers with some species. Moisture level-low. Nuptial flights-August-September Escape artists-no Common species-neoniger, niger, flavus, alienus, claviger, umbratus. Parasitic species-claviger, umbratus. Hope this helps! Expect more caresheets soon! (I'm sorry if this looks funny, but it's hard to put these into columns on my iPad.
)
