how do i go about adding more than three pics to a thread? im trying to make a tutorial, and need to add more than three pics.

I believe the best way is to upload it through a photo sharing website like photobucket then wrapping it in the "img" code.

Mikey would be correct. We don't have the huge storage that a picture share site does (Like PhotoBucket and others), so the best thing is to set up a account on one of those and upload and then link your photo's in the post's.
