Omni Nest or Hybrid Nest

I am a wannabe ant keeper and I'm not sure which nest (Omni or Hyrbid) is best. With price, difficulty, and general positive aspects, which one would be better for a beginner ant keeper? This will be my first colony.
Colonies:
--Tetramorium Caespitum
--Camponotus pennsylvanicus
--Formica Sp.

Both can work equally well in different scenarios.. You haven't told us what species you plan to keep, so we cannot make an accurate assessment.

I am hoping to get a formic or tetramorium as they are somewhat common around my area.

I assume you mean Formica. :) They both have benifits, such as the lower cost of the Omni nest when compared to the Hybrid nest. On the other hand, AntsCanada has hybrid nests tailored to both those species. All in all, it really depends on your preference (a formicarium modeled for a specific genus vs. the entire Formicadae family) and your price range.

Which one do you prefer and do ants like one over the other? Also, looking at the starter kits, which one is a better deal or should get a starter kit at all?

I honestly haven't used either. But the starter kits can save some money versus buying those things individually. That said, both do come with out worlds.

I am somewhat leaning towards the omni, but the hybrid does look gorgeous with its outworld and looks easier to make into a good outworld

Does one get dirtier than the other?
