Okay cool. So for a small investment of about $1,600 I can take some sweet pictures of my ants ;) I better find some other things I could use it for too I suppose...

I didn't just buy the lens for my ants though. I love to take pictures and this macro lens takes some great photos! I don't want to get off topic too much, but when a taking pictures of a person or other abstract things, the background looks nice and the person/thing in the picture (and the picture itself), is very crisp and clear.
*The manual focus is awesome on this lens, but the auto focus isn't so great when taking pictures up close.
